- Evaluate, deploy, and integrate new security technologies and tools.
- Develop and enhance security policies, standards, and operational procedures aligned with industry best practices.
Threat Detection & Vulnerability Management
- Centralize and optimize security logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and behavioral analysis to identify emerging risks and malicious activity.
- Investigate suspicious events and perform log analysis across multiple security platforms.
- Lead vulnerability management efforts, including scanning, prioritization, remediation planning, and validation.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to reduce organizational risk and improve security posture.
Incident Response & Security Operations
- Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and lessons learned.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and recommend improvements to security controls and processes.
- Support and enhance endpoint security technologies, EDR platforms, antivirus solutions, and security monitoring capabilities.
- Serve as a technical escalation point during security investigations and critical incidents.
Network Security
- Monitor and analyze network activity to identify unauthorized devices, anomalous communications, and emerging threats.
- Drive network segmentation initiatives and assist with security architecture improvements.
- Develop and manage firewall policies, user access controls, and network security standards.
- Perform network-based threat analysis and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and networking teams to strengthen enterprise security controls.
